1. page 465: Personal Tax Computation for Janet 2007/8 answer - The Tax Due column showing the total income figure check (after Dividends has been dealt with) is incorrectly showing as £35,340. It should read the same as the total taxable income for Janet for the year - ie. £35,150. Thanks to Kumaravel Ganesan in Malaysia for spotting this one - added 5th November 2007
2. page 466: Personal Tax Computation for Dave 2007/8 answer - The Tax Due column showing the total income figure check (after Dividends has been dealt with) is incorrectly showing as £35,215. It should read the same as the total taxable income for Dave for the year - ie. £35,425. Thanks to Kumaravel Ganesan in Malaysia for spotting this one - added 29th October 2007
3. page 468: Personal tax computation for Mr Thistlethwaite for 2007/08 answer - the explanation and computation of the extended basic rate band for the pension contributions is incorrect. The last sentence should read 'The basic rate band is increased by the gross amount of pension contributions, i.e. £2,553.85 [(5%x £28,000) + (£900 x 100/78)] and is therefore extnded from £32,370 to £34,923.85.' 4. page 469: Personal tax computation for Mrs Thistlethwaite for 2007/08 answer - for clarification - the Tax repayable of (219.70) (ie repaying a negative sum) is of course also Tax payable of 219.70. Thanks to Kumaravel Ganesan in Malaysia for asking about this one - added 19th November 2007
